I am a painter living in Seattle, Washington. My work explores urban scenes, landscapes with man-made structures, and the abstract qualities of light, form and perspective.

Born in Beijing in the era when art was largely forgotten, I worked most of my professional career as a software engineer surrounded by a blend of culture and technology. These dualities have deeply influenced my art.
